At the audio launch of Kaala, Rajinikanth revealed that Vetri Maaran narrated a wonderful script but he couldn't do it since it was all about politics. Now, director Vetri Maaran has spoken about the project in an interview.
The Visaranai director said that the said film might not materialise since both Rajinikanth and himself are busy with their respective projects.
"I don't think that project will happen. Rajini sir has a big line up of projects already. I am also ready for my next film with Dhanush. My film with Dhanush is starting next week and then there is Vada Chennai 2 also. I thought I'd get a gap of one year after Vada Chennai, but now the situation is different. I don't think there is any possibility for Rajini sir's film to happen," Vetri told an entertainment website.
Vada Chennai which is all set to hit the screens this week (October 17) has Dhanush in the lead role. Aishwarya Rajesh, Ameer, Andrea Jeremiah and Samuthirakani are other leading actors in the film.
Vetri and Dhanush are again teaming up for a film, which is touted to be based on a novel.
