Yes our superstar Rajnikanth has made it to the postal cover too. A charity trust in Ahmedabad in Gujarat has come up with a novel idea to raise funds for their charity work. On occasion of Rajni's birthday, 200 special postal covers were released with proper permissions from the postal department. These postal covers had stills of Rajnikanth in the backside and also had the following line stamped on it:

Special cover to commemorate Birthday of India's highest paid actor Rajnikant12/12/1949.

Cost of one such postal cover is Rs.250 and the money collected through this would go directly to charity. Already there is a growing demand for these covers. Stills from the movies Baba, Chandramukhi and Sivaji features in the cover.
