With just three days of its release, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa has entered the prestigious 100 crore club. The movie has collected a little about 100 crore at the box office within three days of its release. The movie was released on Dec 12, worldwide.  Considering the full occupancy level of theatres in Tamil Nadu, Rest of India and overseas, the approximate figures are as below.

In Tamil Nadu, the movie grossed 55 crores which includes tonight’s shows. Rest of India (ROI) has collected nearly 26 crores and the overseas collection stands at 20crores.  According to Atmos, in USA on Saturday alone, the movie has collected 412559 dollars and the two days collection in USA stands at 1.205M US dollars. The movie was released in over 1000 screens overseas. It was released in about 2200 screens in India.

Lingaa directed by KS Ravikumar starred Rajinikanth in a dual role with Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka as the heroines. The movie was released coinciding the Superstar’s birthday on Dec 12.

It has to be noted that Lingaa is the first movie from the south to enter the 100 crore club within three days of its release.
