I think, it was 1988.G.V Films Ltd had became a big banner after a
smash hit “Nayagan” in which he was
also one of the producer. Super Star was invited to release the
audio-cassette of “Agni Natchathiram” in a simple
function held at Golden beach. There, they have decided to do a
film called “Thalapathi” After that
G.V initiated a programme for introducing a soft cool drink in the
presence of Super Star in Trichy.“Thalapathi” had given a good break to G.V Films and the same
created a new style for the Rajini’s films.
Of course, Super Star really took care of technical matters after
“Thalapathi” only.
Recently, G.V was the first person who appreciated Super Star for
returning back of money after the
failure of much expected Baba. It was a tragic denouement for Super
Star’s friend,
Tamil-film maker G.V who scripted an unhappy ending for himself due
to financial mess on Saturday.
