Rajinikanth is the Most Purest Person - Tamannaah Bhatia
(Tuesday, 10th September 2024)
It is a known fact that Superstar Rajinikanth is worshipped as almost a god in several parts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai. The actor’s movie releases are celebrated like a festival in theatres as fans across the country gather to sing and dance welcoming him to theatres with much enthusiasm. Meanwhile, actors and colleagues who have worked our Superstar have gushed about his kindness and humility. Among them is also Tamannaah Bhatia who worked with him in Jailer and they even shook a leg together in the popular song ‘Kaavaala’.
Sharing her experience of shooting and appreciating Rajinikanth, Tamannaah Bhatia was seen talking about it to Raj Shamani during a podcast, wherein she said, “The most fascinating thing about Rajini sir is that he is the purest person you’d ever meet. At his age, after the sheer amount of movies he has done, and receiving so much adulation and immense fan following, he continues to remain so humble.” She went on to assert the genuineness of his humble nature and continued, “There is no doubt that he is a demi-god, but humility is not a put-on. Take, for instance, the time when we were shooting for the Kaavaala song in Jailer. After he finished his step, the background dancers instantaneously cheered and whistled for him. He turned around, and acknowledged their cheers, and valued their appreciation.”
The actress also praised the way he treats his fans and added, “Rajini sir validates his fans. Probably why I don’t understand it when creative people say they do things for themselves, and not their audience. One of the biggest actors we’ve had in Indian cinema, who has been glorified to the level of God, understands the importance of validating fans. There is a reason why very few actors become stars. Stardom is bestowed by people. When there is a mass following, and people love you, you go someplace else”.
